An aphorism is a pithy observation which contains a general truth.
1. Speak little, do much.
This means that you need to do more than what you talk. You can talk all the time but nothing will happen until you actually do something. You learn more by doing stuff than talking. This shows the virtue of silence because it means speak not to benefit others or yourself.
2. Half the truth is often a great lie.
This aphorism means that not everything that someone says is the truth. Often what someone says can be a lie or partly a lie. Don't believe everything you hear because it may not all be true. This shows the virtue of sincerity because it means use no hurtful deceit; think innocently and justly, and, if you speak, speak accordingly.
3. A true Friend is the best Possession.
This means that a real friend is the best thing that you can have. There will always be there for you no matter what and will never go behind you back. It's hard to find a true friend but once you do that friendships last forever. I think this is the virtue of order because this means that you have things in order in your life meaning that a friend is one of those.
